Life's Reflection
Maybell Spruiell (nee Bradley), was born on November 6, 1947 in Buffalo, New York to the late Maybell and William Bradley. In 1951, the Bradley family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. Maybell attended Hughes High School where she graduated with secretarial and accounting skills, and continued in Accountancy securing positions as an Accountant for Terminex, a Bank Teller for First National Bank, and a Weatherization Technician for the Community Action Agency. Maybell also worked for the Alms Apartments where she met and married her soul mate, Nelson James Spruiell, who preceded her in death January of last year.
Maybell and Nelson each brought children to the marriage. Maybell had a son, Lafayette Bradley, and Nelson had two daughters, Denishia and Andrea Spruiell. Their union blessed them with the birth of their daughter, Natalie Jovan Bradley-Spruiell.
During their marriage, Maybell changed to her most cherished occupation of a full-time homemaker and mother. This gave her the freedom to indulge in her favorite hobbies; being an avid reader, playing bingo, cooking, and traveling with friends and family. Maybell also volunteered at neighborhood voting polls, and volunteered her services in accounting to Nelson's business, "AAA Office Equipment", a company that specialized in repairing office equipment.
Maybell and Nelson always trusted the Lord Jesus as their Savior. They loved to study the Bible at home and later joined the Word of Deliverance Ministries in 2008. The sincere care, support and love they received inspired them to become members of the Seniors Ministry.
Maybell was a very generous and kindhearted woman. She had a bubbly personality and was affectionately called "Sunshine" by her daughter. Maybell was a loving mother, sister and friend. She was the Matriarch of our family and she will be sincerely missed by all.
She leaves to cherish and honor her memory; her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother, sisters, and in-laws.
