McKinley Pace Mitchell, age 50 of Cincinnati passed away at the University Hospital on Monday, February 4, 2013. He was born in Cincinnati on October 2, 1962 the son of McKinley Pace and Ann Mitchell. Mickey enjoyed life to the fullest and he loved his brother, Tyrone E. Mitchell as he always looked up to him. He was a member of the New Nazarene Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Ann Mitchell of Cincinnati; his son, McKinley D. Mitchell of Cincinnati; his brother, Tyrone E. Mitchell of Cincinnati; his companion, Corine Nixon of Cincinnati; his son, Curtis Nixon of Cincinnati; three daughters, Dorothy Nixon, Mahogany Nixon, and Anastasia Sims, all of Cincinnati; his uncle, Larry Mitchell of Cincinnati; four aunts, Betty and her husband George Bradley of Cincinnati, Janice and her husband Thomas Parks of Cincinnati, Judy and her husband Ronald Carter of Cincinnati, and Diane and her husband Dwayne Fowler of Cincinnati; one nephew, Tyrone E. Mitchell Jr. of Cincinnati; his niece, Tyeler Mitchell of Cincinnati; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, McKinley Pace; and his grandmother, Essie M. Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Janice Parks officiating. A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home from 1:30 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.
