Melba June Songer

Songer, Melba June age 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio formerly of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014. She was born on December 4, 1932 to the late Archie and Mollie (Morris) Poe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Poe and Mollie Fisher. Melba is survived by her beloved husband John Songer of 60 years, dear children, John W. Songer, Jack S. Songer, Joseph E. Songer and Jill A VanDeventer. Cherished grandmother of four and great grandmother of one. She will be loved and cherished by a host of other relatives and friends.

Melba was an active member of Montana Avenue Church of the Nazarene, 2559 Montana Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
