Barnet, Michael E. age 81, of Monroe, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. He was born in Camden, Ohio on September 10, 1935 to William O. and Naomi L. Barnet (nee Saylor).
He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Linda L .Barnet (nee Otto); children, Bret B. (Denise) Barnet and Janice L. (Dan) Graham; grandchildren, Brandi (Daniel) French and Mark Kingery; one great-grandchild; and a host of other family members and friends.
Michael was a 30 year retiree from Armco Steel in Middletown, Ohio. He was also in the VFW in Middletown.
In loving memory of Michael, contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, 5940 Long Meadow Dr., Franklin, Ohio 45005 or Middletown Community Foundation, 300 North Main Street, Fund #351, Suite 300, Middletown, Ohio 45042-1903. Memorial services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village Chapel, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe, Ohio 45050, on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10 am Gathering with 11:00 am Service.
