Michael Ray Payne

Michael Ray Payne, age 71 of Delhi Township, went home to be with the Lord on December 8th, 2020.
Born June 20th, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Ray and Amy Payne (nee Hays). Brother to Kathleen and Larry Cordray, Pete and Tammy Payne and the late Melvin and Jan Payne.
He leaves behind a wife , Joyce Ann Payne (nee Mounce), a son, Kevin Michael and Jennifer Payne, a daughter Michelle and Jeremy Applegate. Seven grandchildren, Stone Michael, and Ayzlin Payne, Karmin, Kaylin, Katrina, Chasidy, and Catryn Applegate as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Mike was saved by the grace of God in 1974 at Old Fashion Missionary Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio. He married the love of his life, Joyce, on April 5th, 1975, was ordained a Deacon on May 20th, 1979, and was ordained as a Preacher of the Gospel on November 14th, 1983. He pastored Old Fashion Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio for many years and at the time of his passing was a dedicated member and Assistant Pastor of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church of Newport, Kentucky.
