Michael B. Porter

Michael Bruce Porter, age 49, died suddenly on December 30, 2019. Michael was a resident of Dallas, Texas but born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a graduate of Northwest High School class of 1988. He worked in Dallas, Texas as a partner to his best friends Shawn McCain, and Brian Blythe at Energy One.

Michael was born February 20, 1970 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Michael is survived by his father Gerry Porter Sr; his sister, Daneal (Cesar) Neri, his niece and nephews, Jaylen, Cesar, Diego, and Eli Neri. Michael was pre-deceased by his mother, Debbie Compton Porter and his nephew, Kevin Neri. He was loved and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michael was engaged to Debra Hamel from Dallas, Texas.

Michael was a devoted, loyal friend to many, cherished his family and fiancé beyond compare. He loved to play golf and was a loyal fan of the University of Louisville. Michael was larger than life, and lived his life to the fullest. He was a happy, loving, generous man who helped many people in his life, and will be deeply missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 3rd, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the VFW Banquet Hall, 8326 Brownsway Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45239.
