Reece, Michael "Mike" Woodrow age 42, of Harrison, Ohio passed away at his home on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 27, 1979 to Eddie and Shirley Reece (nee Hickman).
Mike was proud to be a Union Ironworker, a friend that would stand by you no matter what and a loving father. He had an outgoing and witty sense of humor that could make anyone laugh and laughed any chance he got. Mike was known for always being on the phone and his entertaining stories. He knew how to work a room and did not know a stranger. Mike was constantly on the go. His theme song to his life was, "I'm in a Hurry and Don't Know Why" by Alabama--Which was appropriate because, he grew up listening to their music and knew every word to every song. Mike loved spending his time fishing, riding his motorcycle, watching movies, and taking trips to Gatlinburg. He was genuine to a fault, a teddy bear at heart and sugar coated nothing.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Eddie J. Reece and his grandparents, Joy and Lona Hickman and Wilson and Clarabelle Reece. Mike will be missed by his beloved mother, Shirley T. Reece; his brothers, Edward J. Reece of Seymour, Indiana, and Brian W. (Charlotte) Reece of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; his beautiful daughter, Kyla Bildner and her mother, Kristy Bildner Bayer of Aurora, Indiana; his nieces, Briana (Brandon) Teeters of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; Addison and Avery Reece of Seymour, Indiana; Bexley Teeters of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; his nephews, Dillon Reece, and Braylen Teeters of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the River Apostolic Church, 6160 IN-56, Vevay, Indiana.
In lieu of donations, Mike would hope that you will do an unexpected act of kindness for someone in his name.
