Michelle Renee Gilmore

Michelle Renee Calhoun-Gilmore was born November 21, 1961 to Gerald Calhoun and Clara Mae Calhoun.

Michelle went to and graduated from Mt. Healthy High School. On January 10, 1984 Michelle married Jeffrey M. Gilmore in a small, but nice ceremony. After working for Lane Bryant, Michelle decided to take on the role of being a stay at home mom. She raised 4 beautiful children. She had many health battles, but despite all of her health issues she remained strong and happy. When you saw her, you saw her beautiful smile. She loved spending time with all 4 of her grandchildren; they were her pride and joy. Michelle was the neighborhood mom anyone could go to, and she would welcome them with loving and open arms. She enjoyed playing with her children, as well as all her children's friends, and that was a true joy for Michelle.

She was preceded in death by Marilynn Calhoun, Misty (Troy) Malcolm, Melody (Alfred) Albright, Lamont (Lisa) Calhoun, Thomas (Elaine) Webb, and Jaqueline Terry.

Michelle leaves behind her husband of 37 years, Jeffrey M. Gilmore, Sr.; four children, Kathryn M.L. (Damien) Thompson, Krystle R. (Adrian) Rice, Karen A. Gilmore, and Jeffrey M. Gilmore, Jr.; 4 grandchildren, Kylie Rice, Aaliyah Rice, Adrian Rice, Jr., and Kaliyah Gilmore; and a host of family and friends. She made such an impact on so many lives and will be dearly missed.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM at the funeral home with her son-in-law, Adrian Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens on Compton Road.
