Harry Michael 'Mike' Robbins, age 68, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, surrounded by his family and "Best Buddy". He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 14, 1954, to Harry and Reba Robbins (nee Bishop).
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Cochran. Mike is survived by his sisters, Sharen Morris and Kristine Hendy; brother-in-law, William Cochran; nieces and nephews, Tina (Robb Mitchell) Mendez, Jeffrey (Marissa) Cochran, Jonathan Cochran, Kara (Rob) Love, and Mitchell Hendy; great-nieces and nephews, Ashley Baldock, Jared Baldock, Madelyn Cochran, and Maximilian Cochran; great-great-nieces, Amaya Baldock and Ava Garvin; Best Buddy, Leroy "Butch" Lockard; and a host of other family members and friends.
Mike graduated from Cooper School of Art in Cleveland, Ohio where he majored in Fashion Design. He trained in Tiffany style stained glass art at prestigious Rainbow Glass Creation Studio in Cincinnati, Ohio and had experience in many facets of stained glass design.
He was also a licensed hairdresser and worked in that profession in Cincinnati, Ohio and Dallas, Texas (where he was known as Gibeon).
Mike (Gibeon) spent many happy years living and working on the West Coast….Palm Springs, California, Santa Cruz, California, and most memorable the beautiful and artsy small town of Guerneville, California where he met many lifelong friends.
The last five years of Mike's life was spent making many forever memories with his "Best Buddy" Butch.
To honor Mike's wishes, we will not have a memorial service but have a Celebration of Life with immediate family and close friends.
