Myrtle Sue Bell

July 7, 1944 — December 12, 2022

Myrtle Sue Hardy Bell age 78, of Cincinnati Ohio passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 7, 1944 to the late Myrtle (nee Welch) and Victor Leroy Hardy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Sue is survived by and leaves behind her true love and devoted husband of 64 years, George Bell who was by her side and cared for her every day up until the very end. A cherished mother to daughters Tammy (Fred) Schmidt, Sherry Bell, and daughter in heart Kathy Eisenschmidt. Beloved grandmother to Sarah (Nick) Scheufler, Emma Schmidt (Richard Evans), Molly Schmidt (Brandon Howard), Katie Schmidt and great grandmother to Ava Scheufler, Charles Schmidt, Braxton Howard, and Lucas Howard. Loved by her sister Ruth Hardy Wachter and many other family members and friends she leaves behind. Her brothers Vic Hardy, Gene Hardy, and sister Thelma Hardy all preceded her in death.

Prior to being a Homemaker, Sue worked for 20 years at the Packout Center at P&G. She had several favorite hobbies throughout the years. In her younger days, she was a great seamstress and enjoyed making clothes for her daughters and grandkids. She also loved working on her family tree with the grandkids. They spent a lot of time helping her find connections and adding relatives to the family tree and they were able to find some family that she didn't even know she had over the years. She also loved all animals and was very passionate about their welfare whether they were hers or not. She leaves behind her beloved dogs Sadie and Gracie and cat Madeline who also miss her very much.

The family is not having a service at this time but is planning a Celebration of Life get together in the Spring for family and friends. If you wish, donations in Sue's name can be made to Cincinnati Animal Care Humane Society on Colerain Ave, Cincinnati Ohio.
