Nancy Jo Chamberlin

October 24, 1946 — December 18, 2019

Nancy Jo Beasley Chamberlin was born on October 24, 1946 at Booth Hospital in Covington, Kentucky to parents Millia (Rogers) and Joseph Beasley. She peacefully departed this world for a better place in the early morning hours on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at the age of 73.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Edward Chamberlin, with whom she celebrated 55 years of wedded bliss. She is also survived by her two children—Roy Allen Chamberlin, who works for Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Dr. Lynn Marie Morgan, who is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine working at a practice in Lexington, Kentucky. Additionally, Nancy has one grandchild, Camden Quinn Chamberlin, who lives in Indianapolis with his family and is a senior attending North Central High School.

She also leaves behind her beloved nine-year-old Border Collie, Louie. She was an avid lover of animals, and always held a special place in her heart for family pets.

Nancy was always proud of her children and grandson, and was a lifelong active member of the Erlanger-Elsmere, Kentucky and National PTA. She was nominated for a Kentucky PTA Lifetime Membership, as well as an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, for her 50 years of service and leadership. Nancy was a kind, genuine, courageous and caring person who never knew a stranger. She was particularly interested in and supportive of people with disabilities and challenges, and volunteered for several years as an assistant on a handicap school bus. Nancy made sure everyone was "seen," and never looked the other way, especially with those who others might not have chosen to engage with. She was loved and admired by her family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all who ever knew her. Per her last wishes, there will be no public service, but rather a small remembrance ceremony for immediate family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes you to provide a modest donation in her name to the Kentucky Humane Society (https://www.kyhumane.org), or any charitable organization that is meaningful to you.
