Nicholas A. Seta

SETA, Nicholas A., age 90 of Cincinnati passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016. He was born on December 18, 1925 the son of Frank and Mary (Sicilani) Seta. Nick was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during WWII. He was a teacher, entertainer, philosopher, advocate for children, public speaker. First and foremost he was Italian and a father. Nick embraced the teachings of Jesus by loving on people in his own special way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Frank "Nick" Seta; and his daughter, Andrea Hoch. Nick is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ethlynn "Lynn" Seta; three sons, Franklin (Jessica) Seta, Michael (Megan) Seta, and Stephen Seta; four daughters, Kathleen (Danny) Elfers, Barbara (Frank) Fox, Patricia Seta, and Maria (Lionel) Jackson; his grandchildren, Nick, Anthony, Danny, Katie, Justin, Piper, Leo, Nicholas, Kalia, Etellina, and Fabrizia; his great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexis, Tanner, and Aiden; and other relatives and friends.

A burial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 12 noon at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West 3rd Street, Dayton, Ohio 45417. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 4-6 pm followed by a memorial service at 6 pm at Northern Hills Christian Church, 9470 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northern Hills Christian Church, Women and Children's Ministries, 9470 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45231.
