Norma "Jean" Nelson

Norma Jean Nelson age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023. She was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky on January 15, 1939 to the late Elbie Wright and Cecil Smoot (nee Murray).

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by Children Carl Lackey, David Philhower, William Philhower, Wilda Evans, Brother, Billy Wright, Sister, Sheila Carman.

Norma is survived by her Daughters, Vivian Young, and Jacqueline Lackey, Granddaughter, Jamie Patterson, Grandson, Lindsey Young, Sisters, Doris Hansford, Deborah Jessie, Oneda Dobson, Freda Kincade; and a host of other family members and friends.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 11, 2023 with a visitation from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
