Jackson, Opal M. age 67, of Verona, Kentucky passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018. She was born in Dayton, Kentucky on November 6, 1950 to William and June Skaggs (nee Ryan).
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and June Skaggs and brother, Charles Skaggs. Opal is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Jim Jackson; children, PJ Jackson, Richard Jackson, Barbara Walton, Wanda (Harold) Brookshire, Tammy (David) Schneider; siblings, Hazel Allen, William (Mary) Skaggs, David (Donna) Skaggs, Terrence Skaggs, Judy (Clide) Sanders; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Opal, contributions may be made to Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in lieu of flowers. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27th from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm with a Funeral Ceremony to follow.
