Patricia J. Sneed

On this day, November 11, 2012, we surrendered our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend back to our heavenly father. Patricia was the eldest child of Fred and Mary (Huber) Nelson who preceded her in death. Patricia leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and compassionate husband, Charles B. Sneed and seven children: Timothy Sneed, Kimberly (Gene) Burton, Kathleen (Wayne) Dixie, Scott (Carol) Sneed, Donna Sneed, Diana (Robert) Bacher and Brian (Nicci) Sneed. She was blessed with seventeen grandchildren: Andrea and Garrett Sneed, Ryan and Antonio Todd, DeMarco Burton, Wayne and Mia Dixie, Mark, Staci and Laura Sneed, Kapreese Hofmann, Lauren, Wolfgang, and Shelby Bacher, Aaron, Logan and Ava Grace Sneed. Patricia was also survived by two sisters Carol (Rocky) Wuest and Linda (Dale) Gronauer; sister-in-law Wanda (Daniel) Price and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Patricia was first and foremost a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Some of the family's most cherished memories are Sunday dinners and seeing the joy Patricia took to decorate and prepare for the holidays. Patricia was especially creative and talented; she enjoyed passing her time creating beautiful flower arrangements, designing jewelry and ceramic pottery. Patricia is most well known for her sense of humor, one-liners and her penchant for being the life of the party while in cahoots with her sisters, whom she adored.

Patricia was a very active mother, often challenging one of her seven children to a race around the house, attending their athletic events and instilling in them that family is the most important part of a good life. Patricia was blessed with a husband that could be described as nothing less than an angel. His patience, tenderness and love was never more evident than when she needed him the most during this past year as she battled through her illness. Patricia was resilient, she endured a great amount of pain due to her illness, yet her will to live was only surpassed by her love for her family and the abundance of love she received from them. Patricia was surrounded by her husband; all seven of her children, grandchildren, in-laws, sisters and other extended family members during her last hours. She will be missed terribly by so many that were blessed to be a part of her life.

Visitation will be held at 10 am on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Church of the Assumption, 7711 Joseph St, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Services will be held at immediately after visitation beginning at 11 am at Church of the Assumption. Interment: Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231
