Patricia Amanda James was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 20, 1940 to the late Cleveland Mack (father); Harriet Clarke (mother) and Elmer Clarke (stepfather). In addition to her parents, she was also raised with her late, only brother, George Mack. Her husband, Jimmie James, preceded her. She departed this life on September 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Patricia, AKA Nanny, attended Hughes High School. She became employed at General Motors, where she retired from the Inspection Department after 30 years.
Patricia was a strong, hardworking, nurturing, loving woman that wanted the best for anyone she encountered. Patricia was a Christian woman that worshipped at the Higher Faith Ministries. She also loved to travel and did just that. She traveled to Ghana, Africa, Egypt, and Israel where she was baptized in the River of Jordan.
Patricia is survived by her beloved children: sons, Daryl James and Anthony James; as well as daughter, Harriet Satterwhite. Also survived by four grandchildren: Dannielle, Christopher, Amanda, and Anthony II; two great-grandchildren: Christopher Jr. and Marie.
A visitation will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Higher Faith Ministries, 11331 Southland Road, Forest Park, Ohio 45240. Service to follow. Burial will be at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
