Paul B. Coldewey, a proud vigilante of Carthage, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 7th, 2021.
He was a loving husband to Melanie Coldewey; dad to Connie Roxanne Sullivan; a loyal son to Carl Fuzz Coldewey, and Sue and Art Lynch; brother to Burn Coldewey (wife, Kelly), Kathleen Estes (husband, Tom), Laura Hubbs (husband, Kerry) and Daniel Lynch (wife, Martina). He had a large extended family including many aunts, uncles, cousins, countless nieces and nephews, and was a pillar of strength within his great circle of cherished friends and neighbors.
As a retired Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class QM he took great pride in keeping his hometown safe and leading his pack of cattle dogs. He will be remembered by many for his love of bass guitar and making music with Duh Jokers. His love for cooking not only fed us, but inspired a passion in many. Though Paul's memory will be different for each of us, his life touched all of our hearts the same.
A memorial of life will be planned by family at a later date.
In his passing, we all know that Paul wouldn't want us to forget to bring a towel.
