Krentz, Paul Gerhardt age 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Vandalia, OH, Lexington, OH, and Waynesville, OH, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016. He was born in LaPorte, Indiana, on December 14, 1930 to Erich H. and Callie H. Krentz (nee Mueschke).
Paul's life revolved around his faith and family. Over the years, he was an active member at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Englewood, OH, Christ Lutheran in Lexington, OH, Resurrection Lutheran in Lebanon, OH, and Messiah Lutheran in Green Hills, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl Krentz; sister, Emily Lorenz; brothers-in-law Eugene Pennekamp and Vernon Lorenz. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Glee Louise Krentz (nee Huge); children, Gail (Doug) Gardner, Lisa (Gregg) Holthus, Gary (Laurinne) Krentz, Amy (Shawn) Sugden; 12 Grandchildren, Brigette and Ingrid Gardner; Jennifer, Jesse (Lisa), and Molly Holthus; Callie, Abigail, and William Krentz; Ashley, Megan, Allison and Jillian Sugden, 1 Great-grandchild, Audrey Holthus; siblings, Ellen Pennekamp, Annette (Richard) Larson, Evelyn (Ronald) Harman; Sister-In-Law, Vi Krentz; Brother-In-Law, Gordon (Marilynn) Huge; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Service will be at 12 noon Saturday, March 19, 2016 with a visitation from 10:30 am until time of service at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1270 N Broadway St, Lebanon, OH 45036.
