Paul William Pannos, age 93, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. He was born on February 21,1931, in Cincinnati to William and Ida Pannos (nee Morwessel).
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Pannos; father, William Pannos; and sisters, Dorothy (Dan) Begley, Angela (Harold) Dubach, and Marian (Jack) Tepe, and brother Jerome (Evelyn) Rae. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 43 years, Beatrice Pannos, and his children: daughter Sharon (Bob) Kaufman, son William Pannos, daughter Lisa Pannos, special father to, Vicki (the late Mark) Elmlinger, and Barbara (Dave) Schwarber. Paul is also survived by his, grandchildren Samantha Pannos, Bryan (Lindsey) Kaufman, Amy (Chris White) Schwarber, Courtnie (Jay) Griffin, Lance Elmlinger, and Michael (Carrie Cheung) Schwarber, Alli Elmlinger, and niece Yvonne (Bob) Wilkins, six great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Paul enjoyed tennis, bowling, golf, attending the Indy 500, and annual outings at Hueston Woods. He had a love for cooking, particularly known for his delicious chicken and noodles and his goetta, which he cherished serving to his family. His mechanical curiosity allowed him to fix nearly anything, a testament to his resourcefulness and ingenuity. Paul was not only a loving husband and devoted father, but also a fantastic mentor and a cherished friend.
In loving memory of Paul, contributions may be made to American Heart Association or to a charity of one's choice.
A visitation will be held on October 17th, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations , Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45211.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on October 18th, 2024 at 11:00 AM, located at St. Ignatius Church, located 5222 North Bend Road, Cincinnati, OH 45247.
