Paul Pruiett

Paul Wayne Pruiett, aged 76, of Newport, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on August 21 2024. He was born in Dayton, Kentucky, to Byron Cecil Pruiett and Ida Pruiett (née Glover).

Paul was known for his passion for card games and his skill in playing pool. An entrepreneur at heart, he dedicated many years to the carnival industry and once owned a bar where he hosted pool tournaments and live music, creating cherished memories for many. A devoted football fan and enthusiast of sci-fi television shows, he brought joy and laughter to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Byron Cecil Pruiett; mother, Ida Pruiett; granddaughter, Terrah Campbell; great-grandson, Damien Scott; and brother, Bryan Pruiett.

Paul is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Pruiett and Rachel Campbell; his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Jayne Pruiett; along with grandchildren Terrahnce Pruiett, Terry Campbell, Lauren Scott, Emily Boatright, and Elijah Boatright; and great-grandchildren Presly Scott, Daisy Scott, and Iver Scott. He is also remembered by his brothers, John and Gary Pruiett; sisters, Judy Jones, Pamela Turner, and Shirley Spicer; and countless other family members and friends.
