Paul Thomas Wilson, affectionately known as Tom, was born on January 30, 1942, in Covington, Kentucky. He lived a life filled with purpose and dedication, culminating in a fulfilling career as a lineman with Duke Energy, where he worked diligently for 30 years. A proud graduate of Holmes High School in 1963, Tom was not only a hard worker but also a talented problem solver, earning the nickname "Mr. Fix-It" for his unwavering commitment to helping others. He had a reputation for always being ready to assist someone with a repair or tinker with their cars, reflecting his generous spirit and desire to lend a hand.
Tom's life journey concluded peacefully on September 6, 2024, in Union, Kentucky, surrounded by his cherished family. His pride and joy lay in his relationships with his loved ones, and he wholeheartedly devoted himself to his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Marianne Elizabeth Wilson (nee O'Donnell), along with his children: Michelle (Rick) Martin, Tony (Angel) Wilson, and Amy (Todd) Meyer. He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, Randy Wilson and Ricky (Dave) Wilson. Tom’s legacy will continue through his grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, Kristen (Andy), Kelsey (Jimmy), and Conner, and he will be missed by his great-grandchildren, Adeline, Kaleb, and Aubrey.
Tom was predeceased by his father, Paul Wilson, mother, Irene Wilson (nee Ashcraft), and sister, Charlotte Carter. As a beloved figure within his family, he leaves behind a profound sense of love and gratitude among all who knew him. His contributions to both his family and his community will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those whose lives he touched.
Tom asked that no public services be held, but rather everyone remember him for who he was.
