Paula F. Jourdan-Walker, age 75 of North College Hill passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Veranda Gardens Nursing Home. She was born on September 28, 1937 the daughter of Frank and Alma (Vogel) Kern. On August 1, 1981 in Cincinnati she was married to Ray Walker.
She is survived by her husband Ray Walker of Colerain, Ohio; one son, Michael Jourdan of Colerain; two step-daughters, Traci and her husband Charles Lovett of Trenton, Ohio and Misti and her husband Jerry Rice of Trenton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Seth, Alek, Sean, and Sara; two nephews, Dan Fritz of North College Hill and Charles Kern of Mount Lookout, Ohio; one niece Janalee Fritz-Heimpold of West Chester; three great-nephews, Robbie, Ricky, and Teddy; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dolly Fritz; and one brother Ralph Kern.
A memorial service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Chaplain Tony Harris officiating. A gathering will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
