Pete Ambrose

Peter Nicholas Ambrose, age 39, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 14, 1981 to John and Candy Ambrose (nee Long).

Pete was a hard worker, and was a sub-contractor for many years. He was lovingly known at the shop as "Pallet Pete". Pete was a lover of all animals and was a friend to anyone he met. He always made sure everyone around him was in laughter and smiles at all times, even if at times it was inappropriate.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, baby Mark Price, III; paternal grandparents, Mary and Nick Ambrose; maternal grandparents, Betty Lee Long, and Peter Jacob Long; father-in-law, Hershel Bunch; and beloved dog, Princess Ambrose.

Pete is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Ambrose (nee Bunch); children, Sylvia Ambrose, Bryana Freeman, Thomas "T.J." Freeman, Austin Ambrose, and Aiden Bunch; grandchildren, Braydon Price, Ryder South-Greynolds, River Freeman, Brentley Ambrose, Raelyn Freeman, and Maeslee Ambrose; parents, John and Candy Ambrose; sister, Kimberly (Michael) Kraemer; brother, Paul Ambrose; mother-in-law, Pam Bunch; brother-in-law, Jesse (Kristy) Bunch; sister-in-law, Denise (Jason) Moore; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, King Ambrose; and a host of other family members and friends.

Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Landmark Cemetery.
