Phyllis Ann Baldwin (nee Thimling), born January 31, 1940, beloved wife of the late Frank Baldwin, was the daughter of the late Phillip Bernard and Sarie Elizabeth Thimling of Shoals, Indiana passed away on September 8, 2016.
She worked for the Department of Treasury, Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau, for 35 years for the Applications Services Branch, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Bible College and at one time aspired to be a missionary. She leaves behind an Aunt, Norma Dickman of Shoals, Indiana and a niece by marriage, Ardis Asbell of Henderson, Nevada. She leaves several cousins and children and grand-children of her late husband. She is also survived by a host of friends from work and close neighbors.
She truly believed in God and spent most of her life trying to serve Him. As a young woman she wanted to be a missionary. She was baptized at the age of fourteen in the Shoals Christian Church. Her later years were spent as a member of the Northwest Community Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Graveside service will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends and family will meet at the front gate entrance of Spring Grove Cemetery at 11:45 am.
