Phyllis M. Griffin

Phyllis Marie Griffin, age 72, of Burlington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on November 27 2024. Born in Covington, Kentucky, on August 12, 1952, she was the daughter of Cecil and Frances Putthoff (nee Chappie).

Phyllis dedicated many years of her life to being a homemaker. In her later years, she took joy in her work at Toys R Us, where she made lasting memories. A passionate collector, Phyllis cherished her collection of little knickknacks, each piece holding a special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Frances Putthoff, and her husband, William Griffin. Phyllis is survived by her beloved children: Cathy Putthoff;  William Griffin;  Jennifer Griffin and  step-daughters Wendy Griffin, Wanda Setter and Wilma Griffin. She also leaves behind an adoring family that includes 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018. The funeral ceremony will commence at 1:00 PM, followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
