Phyllis E. Safford

Phyllis E. Safford, age 81, of Hebron, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She was born in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania on June 4, 1939 to Milford and Vera Fitzimmons (nee Webster). Phyllis was a huge UK Basketball fan. She loved to read, put together jigsaw puzzles, and gamble at Belterra Park. Most importantly she loved her family. She was married for 62 years to her loving husband Larry, and had an unconditional love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who loved her just as much. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Cody Safford.

Phyllis is survived by her beloved Husband of 62 years, Lawrence Safford; sons, Mike (Sheila) Safford, Kevin (Tina) Safford; brother, Gary Fitzsimmons; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jay) Safford, Kaley (Ben) Gardner, Jacob Safford, Christina Safford, Rachale (Carlos) Velazquez, Kyle Smith; great-grandchildren, Madison Gardner, Parker Gardner, Roman Gardner, Oliver Velazquez, Isaac Smith; friends, Dick and Suzie Rivers, Brent Keith; and a host of other family members and friends.

Services for Phyllis will be held at a later date.
