Ralph Edward Chaffin, age 71, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday May 11, 2020 at his home in Independence, Ky.
Ralph was born February 14, 1949, he was an Insurance Agent at Mitchell Insurance in Florence, Ky who loved protecting the lives and wealth of others. He loved his networking groups and was known for making everyone feel welcome, he never met a stranger. He had a huge presence and an even bigger heart.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years Connie Chaffin, their children, Amber Bentley (Geoff), Chrissy Carr (Chris), Daughter-in-law Tonya Rieger Chaffin, grandchildren, Summer, Robert Tyler (Savanna), Caren Jane, Savanna, Sydney, and Sierra. Great grandchildren Avery and Rhys. His mother Violet Joyce Speer, preceded in death by his father Ralph Sylvester Chaffin, Sisters Sandy Bennet (Jim) and Angie Browning (Rick) and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service but the family welcomes condolence visits after 6pm on Saturday May 23rd at the home of their daughter at 72 Circle Dr. Florence, Ky 41042. Flowers and donations may be sent to that address.
~It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God called you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, we'd walk our way to heaven, and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill.~
