Raymond Nelson Long

Raymond Nelson Long "Ray" age 87 passed away Friday April 10th at St Elizabeth Hospital Florence. Ray received his GED in the military and continued on to achieve Cheif Petty Officer status and eventually retired from the Navy after 23 years of service. He was an active member of Erlanger Baptist Church along with The Fleet Reserve Association. He was preceded in death by mother Alice Long, father Lawrence Long, son Mark Long, Brother Donald Long, and sister Betty Mueller. He is survived by wife of 63 years Juanita long, daughter Karen Jones, son Jerry Long, son Doug Long, son Randy Long, Brothers Larry, Paul, and Eugene Long, five grand children , 1 great-great grand child, and one more great-great grand child expected soon.
