On Friday, September 7, 2012 the angels visited God's earthly garden once again. This time He picked Raymond Wilbur Baker.
Raymond was born July 1, 1946 in Darlington, South Carolina to Caroline Baker.
Raymond accepted Christ early in life and was baptized and united with Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorship of the late Rev. Floyd Davis.
He received his formal education from the Cincinnati Public Schools graduating in 1965 from Central High School. He attended CTC and earned an associate degree in real estate and mechanical drawing.
Raymond joined the United States Army and honorably served his country during the Vietnam conflict. He was employed by Emery Industries and retired after more than 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his loving father, Willie R. McMillan.
Raymond leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Caroline McMillan; son, Maurice (Katrina) Baker; grandchildren Lauren, Kendra, and Kennedy; devoted cousin, Daisy Brown; and a host of relatives, family and friends.
