Rebecca Ann Claar

Rebecca Ann Claar age 90, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 6, 1932 to Menno S. and Margaret M. Diller (nee Wiederkehr). Rebecca loved people and was loved by so many. She was actively involved in the church, playing piano and working alongside her husband as a pastor's wife and missionary for 9 years in Africa. In recent years, her greatest ministry was prayer for all whom she met and loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip D. Claar, parents, Menno S. and Margaret M. Diller, brother, Joseph Diller.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Linda Brumback; sons, Jonathan P. Claar and David C. Claar; grandchildren, Geoffrey Claar, Karin Holley, Sean Claar, Kevin Brumback, Bethany Roseberry, and Miranda Noyes; multiple great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Nelson; and a host of other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Grace Fellowship Church, Upper Auditorium, 9379 Gunpowder Road, Florence, Kentucky, 41042. A dinner will follow the service in the Upper Cafe.
