Regina D. Marshall

July 22, 1946 — September 12, 2014

Well done good and faithful servant
Enter into the joy of the Lord. . . .

Mother Regina Marshall, a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ transitioned to her new home, Heaven, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:35 am.

Regina was the daughter of the late Harry and Emma Reed. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 22, 1946. Regina was the sister of Geneva Puckett, who preceded her in death, and a brother, Wendall Reed.

Regina attended Lincoln Heights High School. She was married to the late Samuel Marshall, who also preceded her in death. Regina was the mother of two sons, Charles Anthony and Roosevelt Gene Reed. Charles resided with his mother and took excellent care of her, attending to all of her personal needs throughout her lengthy illness.

Mother Regina Marshall was a member of the Revealed Holiness House of God since 1979. She joined under the leadership of the late Bishop Luther Lundy, Sr. and continued as a faithful member under the leadership of Overseer Mary Lundy Welch and Bishop Wesley Welch, Jr. Mother Marshall came in the church seeking The Holy Ghost and she found what she was seeking after. Mother Marshall plunged wholeheartedly into learning about her Lord and Savior. She was a faithful Sunday School scholar, Bible Study member, and faithful church member. Any time you were in need of prayer you could be assured that Mother Regina Marshall and Mother Owsley were a team, and they kept the noon day prayer open at the church for many years.

Mother Regina held many position during her membership at Revealed Holiness. She served as Church Secretary, Sunday School Secretary, Choir member, President of the Pastor's Aide. She maintained the church calendar and made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be.

So many people loved Mother Marshall. She was either your mom, grandmother, big sister, friend, aunt, or just Ms. Regina. She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Charles and Roosevelt Reed; a loving daughter-in-law, Lisa Reed; grandchildren, Gregory, Tasha, Teaira, Jamal, James, Atia, Myles, and Josiah Reed; four great grandchildren, Arieanna, Sariah, Sidney, and Daniel; nieces, Imogene, Vanessa, and Sandra; nephew, Edward; a dear Sister Friend, Cynthia Owsley, and Pastor Mary Welch, who she affectionately called Aunt Mary; and a host of family and friends.

We love you, Regina. We miss you, but we are happy that you are not in any more pain. Rest in Paradise until we meet again. . . . . . .
