Reverend Steffy, Donald Leroy age 87, of Morrow, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017. He was born in Canton, Ohio on October 24, 1929 to Clarence Donald and Freda Fay Steffy (nee Mylar).
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Laurie Steffy; brother, William T. Steffy. Donald is survived by his beloved children, Robert P. (April) Steffy, Donald M. (Michelle ) Steffy and Sarah E. (Larry Champ) Clark; sister, Mary Jane (Allen) Vance; grandchildren, Kathryn R. (Ryan) Joos, Michael O. Steffy, Evan C. Clark, Madison S. Clark, Adam M. Anderson, Aaron C. Clark and Seth L. Clark; great-grandchildren, Ava M. Joos and Cecilia K. Joos; and a host of other family members and friends.
Rev. Steffy was ordained to the Christian Ministry in 1951. He touched countless lives as a pastor, mentor, and friend. He began his ministry as Student Pastor to the Disciples churches in Campbellsburg and Mt. Carmel, Kentucky. His full-time ministry calls in Ohio included the Shreve Christian Church, Kenwood Christian Church, First Christian Church in Youngstown, and First Christian Church in Middletown. Rev. Steffy also served on the Christian Church in Ohio regional staff as Associate Regional Minister in the 1970's. After retiring from full-time service, he continued to serve the church as Interim Pastor to Anderson Hills Christian Church, the Disciples church in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Kenwood Christian Church, Mt. Healthy Christian Church, and Carthage Christian Church. His legacy truly lives on in the lives of each of these congregations.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, October 7, 2017 with a gathering of Family and Friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Mt. Healthy Christian Church, 7717 Harrison Avenue, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
