Rhonda Anise (Gunn) Jordan born to Gayla (Gunn) Hall and Robert N. Whitehead (deceased) on April 28, 1965. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1984. She went on and attended Bennett College, Greensboro, North Carolina, for two years. She departed this life on May 3, 2014 from a long battle with cancer. Rhonda was brave and fought cancer with all she had and was determined to live life to the fullest! Rhonda accepted Christ at an early age and served him with gladness throughout her life. Later in life she joined Higher Ground Global Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Stephen White and she served there faithfully until she was unable to because of her health. She loved the Lord and witnessed to all who were in her presence. She had a very close relationship to her mother in whom she loved very much and often referred to her as one of her "besties". Rhonda's son, Camerin, was the apple of her eye. She loved him, wanted him to be happy and supported whatever he wanted to do in life. Rhonda was also blessed with one granddaughter, Kyla, in whom she cherished and loved to be around. Because of the life that Rhonda lived, the people she touched, the friendships she made and the love she shared, Rhonda will truly be missed by all.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving, committed mother, Gayla Hall; a very special, dedicated step-father, Mike Hall; her brave son, Camerin L. Jordan; step-son, Morris A. Jordan, III; her beautiful granddaughter, Kyla Renee Jordan; two brothers, Kenneth Gunn and Thembi (Sarah) Hall; two half sisters, Kim Wilson and Arnez Gray; maternal grandmother, Frances Slaughter; two uncles, Gregory and Byron Gunn, two aunts, Raejean and Valerie Gunn; two great aunts, Georgia Calhoun and Juanita Spurling-South as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many loyal, loving friends; and a very special cousin, Tishina Wilson.
