Richard A. Schneider
May 21, 1932 — October 28, 2015
Richard A. Schneider, of Deer Park, Ohio, son of the late Alma and Aloysius 'Ollie' Schneider, died peacefully October 28, 2015 at age 83. A kind and gentle man that loved family, music and sports. Affectionately known as "Hap" in his youth because of his happy go lucky nature. He was a gifted artist and loved golf. He was still able to putt a hole-in-one even after losing his sight to Glaucoma.
Caring Uncle of Robert J. (Sandy), Terry A. (Linda), Timothy J. (Lois), Gary R. (Lynn), and Joseph W. (Lisa) Elfers, Karen (Bob) Hangbers, Tina M. Frampton, Lisa M. (Don) Fields. He will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives he touched. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bette Elfers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Federation of the Blind or the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation (NARSAD). A private memorial service will be observed by the family. See you later alligator.
