Richard Darr

Darr, Richard A. "Rick" age 70, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 8, 1948 to Wallace A. and Mary C. Darr (nee Arnold).

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace A. Darr; mother, Mary C. Darr; and sister, Janine Darr. Rick is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary "Charlene" Darr (nee Hutson); daughter, Tonya (Keith Ruter) Darr; grandsons, Anthony Eastin, Carson Eastin, Noah Ruter, and Owen Ruter; and a host of other family members and friends.

Rick served in the United States Army as a Sergeant stationed in Germany from 1968 to 1974. He loved to attend all his grandson's sporting events, no matter the time of day. Charlene and Tonya were his joy in life. "Rick raised the bar that no man will ever reach, even on his sickest days."

Visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 followed by a Celebration of life at 5:00 pm.
