Richard Mitchell, age 83 of Cincinnati passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. He was born in North Tazewell, Virginia the son of William and Hattie (Holley) Mitchell. Richard was a veteran with the United States Air Corps and the United States Army.
He is survived by three daughters, Shirley Bridgeforth of Columbus, Ohio, Deborah Johnson of Columbia, South Carolina, and Sandra Mitchell of Columbia, South Carolina; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home, 111 Ben Bolt Avenue, Tazewell, Virginia with burial following at the Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell, Virginia. Service times will be posted when made available.
