Richard A. Pindell, a lifelong farmer and retired carpenter, age 93, of Aurora, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. He was born in Kyle, Indiana on March 8, 1927.
Richard had built many homes in his life and worked on many major construction projects through his membership of over 50 years with Local Carpenters Union 1142. Richard loved to fish, hunt and read. He especially loved Westerns with John Wayne or James Stewart. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Viola, two brothers, Delmar and Loren, an infant brother, and most recently, his daughter-in-law, Ruby. Richard is survived by his wife of 73 years, Wanda L. Pindell; daughters, Patricia and Virginia, sons, Randy (Wanda M.) and Terry; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
In memory of Richard, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. At Richard's request, there will be no visitation or service.
