VanDeRyt, Richard "Rick" age 51, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 13, 1966 to Charles and Patti VanDeRyt (nee Sweeney).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patti VanDeRyt. Rick is survived by his daughter, Emily Rae VanDeRyt; Son, Jacob R. H. VanDeRyt; father, Chuck VanDeRyt; brother, Tim (Vicki) VanDeRyt; nephews, Michael, Ryan, and Nick VanDeRyt; furbaby, Tootsie; and a host of other family members and friends.
Rick wasn't a stranger to hard work, he worked over 15 years as owner of VanDeRyt Transport. Rick was passionate about cars and motorcycles. He loved to cook and have family and friends around. Rick had a quick wit with responding with the best comebacks and had a mind of his own.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45211. Funeral Service will follow at 5:00 pm.
