Richard Ray Wainscott

Richard Ray Wainscott died September 13, 2019 at the Cincinnati VA Hospital. He was born May 19, 1945 in Cincinnati, son of the late Ray Austin Wainscott and Ruth (Jacobs) Wainscott.
Richard joined the U.S. Navy in 1961 at age sixteen, serving two tours during the Vietnam War. After his service, he returned home where he worked for the Ford Motor Company in Sharonville. He and his wife owned and trained race horses.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Hille) Wainscott; son, Eric Wainscott; and sisters, Patricia Davis and Donna Oeters. He was preceded in death by his other son, Joseph Wainscott.
Inurnment will take place at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
