Robert E. Huelsman

Robert (Rob) E. Huelsman, 64, of Florence, KY died on December 14, 2020 from complications of a heart attack. He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Norris Huelsman; sons, Robert Ward and Michael Huelsman; and Uncle Paul B. Macke, S.J; stepchildren Darrell Norris, and Julie Norris Battelline (Chris), and grandson, Brayden Battelline. Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Huelsman and Jane Macke Huelsman and his grandparents.

Rob was born on July 16, 1956 in Cincinnati and graduated from Roger Bacon High School (1973) and the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing (1980). He studied psychology at Thomas More College from 1974-1977. Rob was a very skilled and dedicated ICU and dialysis nurse (RN). After retiring from nursing a few years ago, he found a new love as a sports photographer. He especially loved shooting his beloved Cincinnati Cyclones and writing articles for the Pro Hockey News. He loved giving gifts of his landscape photos to family and friends.

Rob was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Florence, KY. A Catholic Mass and Celebration of his life will be held later when it is safe, most probably this summer. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Shriners Hospital for Children
