Kahsar, Robert R. "Bob" age 101, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 21, 1917 to Rudolph and Elsie Kahsar (nee Sauer).
He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Kahsar; mother, Elsie Kahsar; brother, Frank Kahsar; loving husband to the late, Vera Kahsar (nee Schmitt); and the late Olive Selm-Kahsar. Robert is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Rosemary) Kahsar, Robert S. Kahsar, and Daniel F. (Becky Rasmussen) Kahsar; six grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; beloved friend, Dolores Wallingford; and a host of other family members and friends.
Robert was a graduate of St. Monica Elementary and Roger Bacon High School. He was inducted into the Roger Bacon Sports Hall of Fame as a Track & Field Athlete. Later, He served in the US Army, 44th Division as a Staff Sergeant in Europe during WW2.
Robert spent his professional career working in the paper industry for 30 years and spent his retirement as a volunteer for Hoxworth Blood Bank with over 2,000 hours of service. He was a member for many years with the Dunham Recreation Center and would sing throughout Cincinnati visiting nursing homes, uplifting spirits.

Funeral Ceremony will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 1, 2018 with a visitation from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2832 Rosebud Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery & Mausoleum (Old), 3819 Eighth St. W, Cincinnati, OH, 45205.
