Robert Louis Schubert Sr.

Robert Louis Schubert Sr., age 84 of Mt. Healthy passed away at the Clovernook Health Care Pavilion on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:34 PM. He was born in Cincinnati on October 31, 1926 the son of Louis Charles and Frances Elizabeth (Reese) Schubert. Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy during WWII serving from 1944-1946. He was employed as a printer with Bedinghaus Business Forms Company. He was married to Verna Mae Wittkamp, and she preceded him in death in March 2011.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Lynn Schubert of Cincinnati, and Kathleen Zoller and her husband Louis of Fairfield; a son, Robert Louis Schubert Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Hamilton; a sister, June Meyers of Cincinnati; a sister-in-law, Rose Schubert of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Charles and Frances Elizabeth Schubert; his spouse, Verna Mae Schubert; a brother, Harold Eugene Schubert; and a brother-in-law, Roger Meyers.

Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Father Jim Meade, Celebrant of Corpus Christi Church officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.
