Reflections of Life's Journey:Robert M Moseley Jr.
Robert M. Moseley, Jr. (Bobby) was born October 10, 1942 to the late Robert M. Moseley, Sr. and Arneva Cobb Moseley.
Bobby married Annie Bell Ballard on February 10, 1968.
He joined Trinity at an early age and participated in many activities of the church during his youth.
Bobby attended Madisonville Elementary School and Junior High and graduated from Withrow High School.
After graduation he joined the United States Air Force. During his years of service, he was a military air controller in the Pacific.
After military service, he worked at Cincinnati Milacron. He then went on to work for the U.S. Postal Service for over 25 years where he served as a letter carrier and supervisor at the Blue Ash Post Office.
In 1990, Bobby received honors in Washington, DC from the National Association of Letter Carriers for rescuing a family from a burning apartment in Winton Terrace. This award was also featured in Jet magazine.
Bobby enjoyed singing bass in the Trinity Celestial Voices and was instrumental in fund raisers to purchase robes for the Celestials and the Trinity Clefs. For several years he and Annie were advisors for the Trinity Youth Department and planned outings and activities for the youth.
He also felt a great responsibility to his job as a member of Trinity's Trustee Board for many years.
Upon retirement, he was employed with Lighthouse Youth Services and Stepping Stones. He was dedicated to helping the young people who were in need of the special services these agencies offered.
Bobby loved his family and his friends. One of his greatest enjoyments was playing with his grand children. He often said they brought him great joy.
He enjoyed music, boating, fishing, motorcycle riding (somewhat of a dare devil), traveling and he loved to laugh.
He leaves to cherish his life his loving and caring wife, Annie Bell; three adoring children, Samuel Leon, Angela Michelle and Robert III; two brothers-William Dale Moseley and Robert Haddix; two sisters-Marjorie Arneva Moseley and Shawn Best; three grandchildren – affectionately called "Dad" by Ayana and Paw Paw by Rhyan and Myles; God-don – Jonathan Cunningham; and a host of family and friends.
