Robert James Smith

Robert "Bob" James Smith, age 70, of Cheviot, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 6, 1949 to Robert Harry and Geraldine Marie Smith (nee Steirs). Bob was an all around outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing with his family as well as participating in turkey shoots. He also sold his handmade jewelry and knives at flea markets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Michael Texas Smith, and father-in-law, Louis Weisman.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Frances Smith (nee Weisman); children, Robert Michael (Jeanette) Smith, and Christina Noel (Thomas) Askin; grandchildren, Anastasia (Jeffrey) Smith, Ashley (Ryan) Grause, Katelynn (Joe) Romer,Robert John Smith, Courtney Smith, Taylor Askin; great-grandchildren, Tyler Ense, Jeffrey Michael Clark, Charlotte Swango, Piper Clark, and Brodie Swango; brother, Bruce (the late Brenda) Smith; sister, Judy (Gene) Smith-Sharp; and a host of other family members and friends.
