Robert Gayle Wilson

Wilson, Robert "Bob" Gayle age 79, of Hebron, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. He was born in Grant County, Kentucky on August 19, 1942 to Wilbur and Margaret Elizabeth Wilson (nee Henry). Bob was a lifelong fan of dirt track racing. He loved to spend time with his family, he enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, he loved to listen to "old" country music, and watching programs on Daystar. Bob was a lifelong member of Beaverlick Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bonniesue Wilson; 3 brothers, Chester, Billy and Wilbur Jr. Wilson; his sister, Judith Ann Wilson. Robert is survived by his beloved daughters, LaVerne Ohmer (Tom Gripshover), Christina (Vernon) Brock, Sarah Elliott and Barbara Wilson; his sister, Brenda Brewer; his grandchildren, Tommy (Teryna) Gripshover, Jennifer Gripshover, Amanda Gripshover, Olivia (Dakota) Schemanski, Jamie Elliott, Vanessa (DJ Bennett) Gripshover, Nick Brock, Dakota Wilson, Dannie Lynn Hornsby and Hannah Wilson; his great-grandchildren, Brooke and Summer Henson and Haven Gripshover; his canine companion, Peanut; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Beaverlick Baptist Church, 11460 US-42, Union, Kentucky 41091. Burial will follow at Hughes Chapel Cemetery.
