Rossi, Roberta "Bobbie" T., age 90, formerly of Fallsington, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born in Clairton, Pennsylvania on September 5, 1924 to the late Patsy and Ella Thomas. Bobbie was a faithfully devoted mother, meticulous seamstress, and devout catholic with involvement through Saint Clare's and Saint Joseph The Worker Parishes. In addition to serving her family, she developed a long career as a teacher and completed her Master's at Duqueasne University.
Bobbie is survived by her beloved Husband of 34 years, Julius J. Rossi; Daughter, Patricia McGrew, Daughter, Mary Beth (Joe Busby) McGrew, and Son, Donald (Terry) McGrew; Julius's Children, Jamal (Pamela) Rossi and Celeste Toth; Brother, Eugene Thomas; Sister, Antoinette Keddie; Grandchildren, Anna, Kelton, Michael, Bryan, Taylor, Nicholas, David, Sarah, Leah, and Justin; and a host of other family members and friends. In addition to her Parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her Sisters, Betty (James) Kiggins and Marie (Andrew) Bartos; Son-in-law, Richard Toth.
The family has arranged a Memorial Mass at Saint Clare of Assisi Parish, 460 Reed Street, Clairton, PA 15025 on Saturday, September 19th, 2015 at 10 AM. Entombment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pittsburgh. Memorial contributions in Bobbie's honor may be made to Saint Clare of Assisi Parish.
