Roger passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash Campus. He was born on December 1, 1919 in Tunnel Springs, Alabama to Charlie Lett and Ethel Lett.
Roger is survived by his son, Roger William Lett Jr. of Alpharetta, GA; and daughter, Dorothy Smith of Sacramento, CA. Roger will be cherished by six grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as, a host of family and friends.
Funeral service for Roger William Lett Sr., age 93 of Cincinnati, will be Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel. Rev. Jerome Byrd will officiate. Burial will be Friday, January 4, at 11:00 AM in the Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel.
