Roger Allen Waits

Waits, Roger Allen age 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. He was born in Newport, Kentucky on July 27, 1931 to John and Dorothy Waits (nee Miller). Roger was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the State Avenue United Methodist Church. He was married to Dolores Mozena and she preceded him in death in 2003.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his sister, Jean Waits. Roger is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Charles) Bell; his son, Brad Waits; his grandson, Charles Ray Bell III; his granddaughter, Alyssa Dolores Bell; his sister, Shirley Willis; his great-granddaughters, Alivia Paige Bell and Kayleigh Grace Bell; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, January 20, 2018 with a visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Newcomer West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. In loving memory of Roger, contributions may be made to, State Avenue United Methodist Church, 690 State Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45204.
