Ron Hibbard

Ronald "Ron" Hibbard, age 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 26, 1934 to Chester and Dorothy Hibbard (nee Cash).

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Jean Hibbard. Ron is survived by his children, Mark Hibbard, Kimberly Cara Donna; grandchildren, Amanda (Jenna) Cara Donna, Vincent (Sara) Cara Donna, Kimberlynn (Rocco Stella) Cara Donna, Michael (Kasey) Cara Donna; great-grandchildren, Xander Cara Donna, Logan Cara Donna, Nicola Cara Donna, Olive Stella; and a host of other family members and friends.

Ron served in the United States Army and was in the Korean War. He wouldn't talk much about the time he served but knew that he was honored to have answered the call. Ron always found the good in any situation and was known for his jokes and light-hearted pranks. He will truly be missed.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Ivy Woods Nursing Home for taking great care of Ron and his beloved wife, Betty Jean Hibbard.

Funeral Ceremony will be at 11:00 am Monday, June 29, 2020 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
