Ronald F. Boehm, age 94, of Milford, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. He was born in St. Bernard, Ohio on September 2, 1926 to Frank and Alvenia Boehm (nee Brausch).
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma J. "Jean" Boehm; grandson, Charles Allen; sisters, Vera Jacobson, Vyola Herzog. Ronald is survived by his beloved children, Rhonda (the late Gary) Krodel, David Boehm, Deborah Boehm, Stephen (Mary) Boehm, Janelle (John) Hardin; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Ron proudly served our country in the US Army during WWII. He re-enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1945 and retired at the rank of Master Sergeant in 1982.
After WWII, Ron and his wife Jean formed and directed a dance band called "The Rhythm Makers", which was a lifelong dream. The band performed at area High Schools and various events. The band disbanded in 1961 when he was called to active duty and once again served his beloved country.
Ron was a devoted husband, father, grandfather & friend. Ron was a very humble and caring person, always putting God first, then family and friends, before thinking of his own needs.
Latin Requiem Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 140 S. Findlay Street, Dayton, OH 45403. Burial to follow at 1:00 pm: Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45232. Contributions in Ron's name may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
